Many historic Bibles are on display in March and April, including the original 1663 printing of John Eliot’s translation of the Old and New Testaments into the indigenous Massachusett language. The museum is open on Saturdays from 10 to 4 or by special appointment.

Romans 10:9-13 (ESV) – 9 Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Q. What is adoration?
A. Adoration is the lifting up of the heart and mind to God, asking nothing but to enjoy God’s presence.
Q. Why do we praise God?
A. We praise God, not to obtain anything, but because God’s Being draws praise from us.

A. Thanksgiving is offered to God for all the blessings of this life, for our redemption, and for whatever draws us closer to God.
