Christmas at Ward Hill
We invite you to come to any or all of our Christmas events and services. Have a blessed Nativity and a wonderful New Year!

Sun., Dec. 20, 10 am – 4th Sunday of Advent, 10 am. Children’s Christmas Pageant to follow service.

The Power of Prayer Evening Series Beginning Oct. 5 & 6
We warmly invite you to a time of prayer at Ward Hill Church. Below is some important information about the upcoming prayer nights. Please contact the church if you have any questions.
What? Evenings of Prayer for the Congregation and the Community
When? Every first Monday and Tuesday evening of the month at 7 pm
Where? at the Ward Hill Church of Christ the King, 63 L St, Bradford, MA
Why? To offer the congregation and the wider community an opportunity to pray for specific concerns.
How? Every month will have a different theme (though any need is always welcome). People may come to pray for others or to be prayed for themselves. People may wish to pray on their own or with others. Quiet sacred music will accompany the time of prayer.
Future Power of Prayer themes are as follows:
Oct. 5 & 6 – theme: prayer for the sick
Nov. 2 & 3 – theme: work/financial difficulties
Dec. 7 & 8 – theme: holiday blues/grief over loss
Jan. 4 & 5 – theme: hope for the New Year
Feb. 1 & 2 – theme: broken relationships with friends and family
Mar. 1 & 2 – theme: to be determined
Apr. 5 & 6 – theme: to be determined
May 3 & 4 – theme: to be determined
June 7 & 8 – theme: to be determined

Yard Sale for Missions on Saturday, May 16 from 9 to 1
Please stop by the church this coming Saturday, May 16th for our yard sale. There’ll be some good stuff to buy and food to eat.
The money raised will go to fund Pastor Alex’s missions trip to South Africa and Mozambique in August.

Come celebrate the Risen King at Ward Hill Church of Christ the King!
We invite you to our Holy Week and Easter Services this year. We also invite the kids to our Annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, 4/11, at 11 am.
April 5 – Palm Sunday Service at 10 am
April 9 – Maundy Thursday Communion at 7 pm
April 10 – Good Friday Observance at 7 pm
April 11 – Easter Egg Hunt at 11 am
April 12 – Easter Celebration of the Resurrection at 10 am

Reminder: Annual Meeting
Please be reminded that Ward Hill Church will have its annual congregational meeting this Sunday afternoon, January 25th. Between the morning service and the meeting, there will be a special dinner. All are welcome to the dinner and the meeting; you don’t have to be a voting member to attend.

Read the Entire Bible in the Year 2009
How would you like to read the Bible all the way through in 2009? Here’s a convenient way for you to accomplish it. This blog site (entirebibleinayear.wordpress.com/) divides the English Standard Version of the Bible into 365 segments so that you can read the entire Bible in one year. The blogger has omitted chapter and verse numbers so that you can better focus on the text. You’ll find that it takes only a few minutes each day to read through the Bible. You won’t regret doing it!
